Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is an injective procedure that introduces different active ingredients into the skin like vitamins, minerals, amino-acids and hyaluronic acid. Mesotherapy penetrates in depth and the result is deeply hydrated and rejuvenated skin with better look and turgor, higher elasticity and smoothed fine lines. The procedure lasts about 30 minutes, depending on the zone treated.

The manipulation is slightly painful and causes some discomfort. Local anesthetics may be applied during the procedure. Unwanted side effects may occur such as redness, slight swelling, headache, heaviness or tension in the treated area, but they all fade away in a couple of hours or within 1 or 2 days.

• Avoid taking Aspirin or other medication or food supplements with anticoagulant effect one week before the procedure as they slow down the process of blood clotting and increase the risk of hematoma.
• Avoid alcohol 1 or 2 days prior to the procedure

• Do not rub and do not massage the treated zone at least 24 hours after injection.
• It is advisable that you do not lie or lean 5 to 6 hours after the procedure.
• Do not drink alcohol in the day of treatment and do not clean your face with rubbing alcohol containing products.
• Avoid sport or heating procedures in the day of the procedure.
• Active mimicking in the injected area in the day of the procedure helps speeding up the effect.
• 2 weeks after the procedure visit your doctor so he can estimate the effectiveness of the procedure and whether a correction is needed.
